Custom Engraving & Enamelling

From engraving personal messages, dates or initials on the inside of your rings to a totally custom design.

This couple wanted these special geometric symbols on the inside of their rings, each with their own personal meaning. They were engraved in the Bamboo Band wax models, cast in 18ct gold, then filled with enamel.

The Bespoke Process

 

Working with me on a bespoke piece is a collaborative and personal experience. Here's what to expect:

  1. Initial enquiry — Get in touch via the contact form or email below. Tell me a little about what you have in mind — no idea is too rough at this stage! This could be a variation of one of my existing designs, or something entirely new & made just for you.
  2. Consultation — We'll have a conversation (in person, by phone, or via email) to explore your ideas, discuss materials, stones, and style, and talk through your budget.
  3. Design & quote — I'll put together a design concept and a detailed quote for your approval.
  4. Making — Once you're happy and a deposit is placed, I'll begin crafting your piece by hand in my studio.
  5. Delivery — Your finished piece is carefully packaged and delivered to you, ready to wear or gift.

Timelines

Most bespoke commissions take 4–8 weeks from design sign-off to completion. More complex pieces or those requiring specialist stones may take a little longer. If you have a specific date in mind — a wedding, anniversary, or birthday — please mention it when you get in touch so I can plan accordingly. I always recommend getting in touch at least 3 months in advance for wedding jewellery.

Pricing

Bespoke pieces are priced individually depending on the design, materials, and complexity involved. As a guide, bespoke commissions typically start from £300, with wedding and engagement pieces often starting from £500. I'll always provide a full, transparent quote before any work begins — there are no hidden costs.

A 50% deposit is required to begin work, with the balance due on completion.
